School Lunches

School lunches are provided to over 500 students each day. For many of these students, this is their only meal. Once The Project began providing lunch, school enrollment increased from 225 to over 500 students.

Due to increased enrollment and the rising cost of food due to serious drought, additional funds are needed to provide adequate nutrition to each student. The monthly cost of school lunch for 500 students is over $1,000 dollars.
