What made you want to be a teacher?
I had the desire to inspire and empower young minds believing in education as a tool and a transformative power of knowledge and skills to change the world where we are living.
What brought you to teach the students of Lemong’o?
I have always been passionate about teaching the Maasai. I take pride in helping the Maasai children of Lemong’o master their abilities and transition to responsible adults.
Name some of the most enriching parts of your teaching position.
Witnessing the impact I am making on my students’ lives and knowing that I am making a difference in shaping their future is one of the enriching parts of my job. Secondly, watching the children grow and change, becoming better, and later coming back appreciating my efforts is just an inspiration for me since it makes me feel fulfilled. Seeing them providing long-term solutions to issues affecting the community.
