Supporter Reflections

The Lemong’o Project is an inspirational story about hope, compassion, and love for the beautiful, warmhearted Masai people of Kenya. Carolyn and her organization have helped build a community in education, self sustaining resources, and inspired self reliance for the Masai community. The goodwill this organization has provided is truly considerate and caring.

The Lemong'o Project is just what a nonprofit should be. I have worked with other "non profits" and seen how a large amount of the money raised just goes to overhead costs and logistics. Not so with the Lemong'o project. I have seen how my donations go to the people of Lemong'o. I know that my donations actually go to school lunch programs, paying local educator salaries, and maintaining a safe and effective learning environment in the village.

I started supporting this non- profit because I had seen beautiful handmade jewelry that I bought for myself and as gifts for family and friends. Having my purchase and donations helping women and an entire community- is so wonderful! As a previous school nurse this non-profit is right up my alley. Helping fund community and education is so worthwhile. Happy to support and will donate again!

The Lemong’o Project is a deeply inspiring grassroots initiative that exemplifies the power of compassion, collaboration, and sustained commitment. Born from a personal journey of service and connection, this non-profit has transformed the lives of the Maasai community in Lemong’o, Kenya by focusing on nutrition, education, healthcare, and employment. What began as a heartfelt response to the village’s generosity has grown into a beacon of hope—driven by mutual respect and shared purpose. The ongoing impact is a testament to what can be achieved when empathy meets action.

I love this nonprofit. Two of my passions in life are children and education. This nonprofit embodies both. The money I have been able to donate goes a long way. I have been able to help pay the salaries of teachers and feed school-age children healthy, nutritious meals while they attend school. One year I was so excited to help pay for the education of a young man becoming trained as a teacher. He then went back to the village to teach. I have been the recipient of some beautiful drawings and notes from the children of Lemong’o thanking me for my donations. Holy cow, I thank them.
