Nourishing the Maasai
By enhancing access to nutritious food and education about healthy eating, we empower families to thrive.
School Lunches
School lunches are provided to over 500 students each day. For many of these students, this is their only meal. Once The Project began providing lunch, school enrollment increased from 225 to over 500 students.
Due to increased enrollment and the rising cost of food due to the serious drought, additional funds are needed to provide adequate nutrition to each student. The monthly cost of school lunch for 500 students is over 1,000 dollars.
A donation of $2.00 will feed one student for an entire month!
Community Food Distribution
Our community food distribution program began as an urgent response to the devastating drought that struck Lemong’o for more than three years, compounded by the economic impact of COVID. As the community continues to recover from these hardships, the program remains a vital source of nourishment and hope. Local volunteers distribute food to their neighbors, ensuring no one in the village goes hungry.
Will You Change the Lives of Children?
